Bangkok--27 May--Ericsson Khun Ratana Kraivichien (right) Senior Vice President of Ericsson (Thailand) recently signed the GSM Expansion Phase 14 contract with Than Houmphanh INTHARATH, Director General of Lao Telecommunications (LTC) at LTC Head Office, Vientiane. The contract is worth US$3.23 million and covers the expansion of HLR/AUC, BSS both Macro and Micro Cell including the launch of AMR Half Rate feature in order to improve the network quality.
