Bangkok--5 Jun--Reed Tradex Responding to the extensive damage caused by the earthquake in Sichuan on 12 May, Reed Exhibitions Greater China (Reed) contributed RMB 1 million to the China Red Cross and the Sichuan Provincial Government. The contribution comprised personal donations from Reed’s Chinese and expatriate staff members as well as company donations from Reed’s offices and joint venture companies, including Reed Sinopharm, Reed Huayin and Reed Huabo. Mr Preecha S. Chen, President of Reed Exhibitions Greater China said, “The management and staff of Reed Exhibitions Greater China are shocked and saddened by the magnitude of loss. Many of our other colleagues in Reed Exhibitions and Reed Elsevier around the world have similarly expressed concern for the victims. This calamity has affected the world on various levels.
