Bangkok--9 Jun--Krungthai Card KTC further celebrates the value of KTC Forever Rewards points after survey finds members satisfied with the convenience and practicality of redemption. Plan is in motion to launch phase 3 of the campaign with five unique privileges. Few points required for product redemption, more options of cash substitute, interest-free installment plan, donation with well-known organizations and discounts. Collaboration sought from 52 partners covering 2,505 points of services with all spending needs. PR efforts in the work to encourage the exercise of at least 700 million KTC Forever Rewards points in phase 3 from today to August 31st, 2008. The previous two phases of the campaign were exceedingly successful with 560 million KTC Forever Rewards points redeemed in phase 2 from December 1st, 2007 to February 29th, 2008 or 595% rise over phase 1 from July 23rd to September 30th, 2007 in which 80 million points were exercised. A survey conducted by world-class research firm AC Nielsen during February and April 2008 found KTC credit card holders most satisfied with their card compared to other credit cards in terms of conveniences from instant redemption of products and services at partner establishments and from the use of fewer points to redeem items. This is why we are reinforcing these strengths in phase 3 of Shop Now, Get Now campaign from today to August 31st, 2008. The number of partners participating in the campaign is now up to 52 to cover all top spending needs of members. Points of services where KTC Forever Rewards point can be redeemed now total 2,505 for more convenience, compared to 36 partners and 1,592 points of services in phase 2.” New strategies being introduced in phase 3 of Shop Now, Get Now campaign are even more comprehensive with five privileges as follows: 1. Redeem with few points Members can use as few as 99 KTC Forever Rewards points to redeem products or services they require at participating establishments. Gasoline and automobile: JET and Jiffy, Wizard Auto Care. Shopping: Watsons and Daiso. Entertainment: SFX Cinema, SF Cinema City, SF Strike Bowl and SF Music City. Dining: Swensen’s, Auntie Anne’s, Dunkin’ Donuts and Sizzler. More partners and points of services are being introduced in the campaign. 2. Points for cash (E-Voucher) Members can exercise their KTC Forever Rewards points to redeem any products or services they require. Five hundred points can be used in place of 50 Baht cash, Dining: Miss Mamon. One thousand points can be used in place of 100 Baht cash, Gasoline and automobile: Wizard Auto Care, Shopping: Central, The Mall and Robinson, Discount store: Carrefour, Dining: Black Canyon, See Fah and Swensen’s, Flexi: Power Buy, Sony Center, Verasu and HomePro, Hospital and beauty: Phyathai Hospital, Vejthani Hospital and Marie France. One thousand and two hundred points can be used in place of 100 Baht cash, Gasoline and automobile: JET & Jiffy, Entertainment: SF Cinema and Total Reservation. 3. Points for merit Members can use 500 KTC Forever Rewards points in place of 50 Baht cash for donation to various charitable organizations such as The Center for the Protection of Children’s Rights Foundation, Friends of the Asian Elephant Foundation, The National Council on Social Welfare of Thailand under Royal Patronage, and World Vision Foundation of Thailand. Donations can be made through the call center and receipts will be delivered by post to members by the receiving organizations for the tax rebate. 4. Installment option A new feature allowing KTC credit card members to exercise as few as 200 KTC Forever Rewards points for every 1,000 Baht of spending to be entitled to interest-free, three-month installment option. Members can choose this option immediately at Jaeleng Shop and participating trade fairs. 5. Points for discount Members can use the same amount of KTC Forever Rewards points as the value of transaction to gain 20% actual discount. Simply pay for products or services by using a KTC credit card and exercise matching KTC Forever Rewards points at 5 participating partners: ZEN Japanese Restaurant, AKA Japanese Restaurant, CUCINA Japanese Restaurant, TG Fone and Cosmetics Section of Robinson Department Store. “In addition to these innovative privileges, we believe that PR efforts are as important. This is why we are promoting the campaign through various channels as television, radio, newspaper, closed-circuit televisions inside all KTC Touch branches and What’s Up magazine which is delivered to the members on a monthly basis. These PR efforts will highlight the value represented by KTC Forever Rewards points as well as its convenience and practicality. This phase 3 of Shop Now, Get Now with its 5 privileges will prove most satisfying to the members.
