Bangkok--4 Jul--TMB Bank TMB Bank Public Company Limited announced that it has appointed Mr. Boontuck Wungcharoen as Chief Executive Officer following a TMB Board of Directors meeting earlier today. An experienced banker, Mr. Boontuck, 52, will join TMB on 14 July 2008. He recently resigned as Senior Executive Vice President of Kasikorn Bank. He oversaw the Corporate Business Division, the SME Business Division as well as the Capital Markets Division. He will also join the TMB Board on the same day. Outgoing CEO Khun Subhak Siwaraksa, 51, announced his resignation from TMB in April. “We would like to acknowledge Khun Subhak’s passion and dedication at TMB through the years, and thank him particularly for successfully helping to complete last year’s capital raising and guiding the bank through one of its most challenging periods in recent years,” said Dr. Sathit Limpongpan, TMB Chairman. “On behalf of the Board and management of TMB, I welcome Khun Boontuck on board. He will receive our full support as he provides leadership to build and expand TMB’s customer franchise and enhance its service quality and product suite,” he said. He holds an MBA in International Business and Finance from New York University on a Kasikorn Bank’s scholarship and a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University.
