Bangkok--18 Jul--TISCO Bank TISCO Foundation for Charity by TISCO Bank Plc. recently held the 2008 annual scholarship presentation ceremony at the Convention room, Government Public Relations Department, which is led by the Chairman of the charity Mr. Kamchorn Sathirakul. Also attending the ceremony was Pliu Mangkornkanok, Director of the charity and Winai Rodjai, Deputy Secretary General of the Office of Basic Education Commission (OBEC). In 2008, 5,012 scholarships worth 16.8 million baht, was granted to needy students at all educational levels. TISCO Foundation for Charity was established in 1982 as a declaration and commitment to provide educational support to needy students. Until now, the Foundation granted 145 million baht scholarships to students at all educational levels nationwide.
