Bangkok--23 Jul--Outrigger Hotels Darren Edmonstone of Outrigger Thailand is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Panjama Leamsuwan to the position of Director of Sales & Marketing, Outrigger Hotels Thailand, Limited. In this newly created position, Ms Leamsuwan is responsible for the creation and implementation of Marketing strategy for Outrigger Hotels Thailand, which includes the recently announced West Sands Outrigger Resort, Phuket, a new luxury 396-room full service hotel being built as part of in an exciting new, mixed use resort at Mai Khao Beach on Phuket’s western coast, set to open in early 2010 and the 78 apartment absolute beachfront Outrigger Serenity Terraces Resort which opens early 2009 in Rawai. Ms Leamsuwan joins Outrigger from a long career in hospitality that includes her most recent post as Director of Sales & Marketing for Alila Hotels, as well as three years at the internationally acclaimed Trisara, Phuket. Ms Leamsuwan vast experience includes the Layan Beach Resort, Laguna Hotels & Resorts and the Diamond Cliff Resort and Spa. Prior to beginning her professional career Ms Leamsuwan obtained a Master in Arts, majoring in Public Relations from Chulalongkorn University followed by a Master of Economics from the University of Sydney in Australia.
