Bangkok--29 Jul--Lowe Lowe Worldwide in Asia has appointed its Vietnam Managing Director Sabyasachi Mishra to a new regional Unilever role, based in Bangkok. Mishra has been appointed Business Director, Asia, for Lowe’s Wall’s Ice Cream business. Earlier this year Lowe was appointed worldwide as Wall’s Ice Cream lead agency after a competitive pitch which sees Lowe Worldwide take on key Walls brands such as Magnum, Cornetto, Paddle Pop and Moo. Mishra’s role is a new regional position at Lowe and he will work within Lowe’s global Unilever team on strategy and implementation of new marketing communications for the ice cream brands. He has been managing director of Lowe Vietnam for the past three years. Vikas Mehta, Lowe Vietnam’s client services director, has been appointed to succeed Mishra as Managing Director of Lowe Vietnam. The joint moves were announced by Lowe’s Thailand Chairman, Charuvarn Vanasin who is also responsible of Lowe’s operations in South East Asia.
