Bangkok--22 Aug--Seagate Technology Australian entrant, Mr. John Westwood has been awarded second place in the video category of the Seagate Precious Memories regional competition. Westwood’s entry, “HMAS Yarra” was a favorite among an esteemed panel of Asian judges compiled to decide a winner from 30 video finalists drawn from ten countries. The video entry is a tribute to the famous Australian warship. It has personal relevance for Westwood as his father was one of only 13 survivors after the boat sank in 1942. Mr. John Westwood is an Australian Camcorder.
