Bangkok--3 Sep--Farh Agency Qualcomm, along with its partners NTC, GSM Association (GSMA), DTAC and Hutchison hosted the “3G: Wireless Academic Day seminar” at the faculty of engineering, Chulalongkorn University earlier today. The seminar is an initiative aimed at educating university students about the evolution of 3G and wireless technology, as well as high-speed broadband services in high-growth markets such as Thailand. Engineering students were able to comprehend the technological development of 3G, the significance of wireless technology development towards a country’s socioeconomic development, in addition to how various evolutionary paths of 3G have led to the development of new applications and services that are relevant to people’s needs.
