Bangkok--4 Sep--Chevron Recently Tara Tiradnakorn (2nd right), President, Brian Burke (2nd left) General Manager, Assets of Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. and Narong Boonyasaquan (center), Managing Director of CUEL Limited signed on the EPCI Contract for Wellhead Platforms and Associated Pipelines for 2009-2013. The 5-year contract will cover many offshore projects in the Gulf of Thailand including the Platong Gas II, a major natural gas project of Thailand and the region. Joining as witnesses were Joe Geagea (left), Managing Director of Chevron Asia South Ltd. and Sivavong Changkasiri (right), Chairman of Board of Directors of CUEL Limited. The EPCI Contract signing shows Chevron’s continuous investment in developing indigenous energy source for the growth of the country. The awarded contract to CUEL, a company with majority of Thai employees and usage of local content, is aligned with the government policy in supporting the development of Thai human resource and petroleum industry.
