To address different needs of medium and large organizations, HP has tailored the Data Deduplication technology as two types: “Dynamic” Deduplication for HP StorageWorks D2D Backup Systems (D2D) designed for mid-sized businesses, and: “Accerelated” Deduplication for HP StorageWorks Virtual Library Systems (VLS) that specifically suits large enterprises.
