Bangkok--11 Sep--Lowe In line with its growing influence as a regional strategy and creative communications hub, Lowe has announced the appointment of Mr. Rupen Desai as Operating Director for the agency’s Unilever business across Asia Mr Desai, who has more than 13 years experience with Lowe in Asia, the Middle East and Western Europe will relocate from Bangkok to Singapore and take up his new position immediately. In addition to this new responsibility, he will continue to lead Lowe’s teams on the global Unilever laundry portfolio. Last year was particularly successful for this business, attracting huge international recognition including the winning of two Gold Lions and one Bronze Lion at the prestigious Cannes Advertising Festival. The creative work for these wins was developed by Lowe Thailand regional teams. Continuing the Lowe “Idea community” way of working, Lowe’s Unilever creative work will continue to be done from Lowe Thailand’s Bangkok office in addition to Shanghai, Jakarta and India. Lowe Thailand is one of the most creatively awarded offices in Asia.
