The company also reveals its plan to aim at Japanese customers in Thailand, with Bt 2,000 million targeted in 2010. Mr. Poonsak Thiapairat, President of Eternity Grand Logistics Public Company Limited (ETG) announced that the company has a plan to raise capital through a private placement to Aichi Kaiun Co., Ltd., a strategic partner that matches the company’s present position in terms of size, offering price, conflict of interests, and future contributions. This private placement was offered to Aichi Kaiun Co., Ltd., a logistic provider based in Japan, consisting of 25 million shares at a price of Bt 5.10 per share, for a total gross proceed of Bt 127.5 million or 17.8571% of total stakes. The transaction would raise the company’s stakes up to 140 million shares, from 115 million shares at the present, or an aggregate of Bt 140 million registered capital. In our initial steps, we operated waterway logistics and inventory management services. Latter when our business continued to grow, we then operated sea and road freight services, as well as warehouse service. Now Aichi Kaiun is a third party logistic provider in Japan which is specialized in primary products i.e., minerals, agriculture products, recycle logistic provider such as scrap.
