Executive Boards thought deriving from instable politics and high gasoline price, making people go shopping near their houses and spending money to relieve their tensions. Besides, there’re an increasing number of new customers after the big image revolution to become “The Natural-Metro Shopping Park, the meeting point of nature, modernism, and you”; in addition with the launch of New Campaign “Future Park 13th Anniversary Grand Splendor”, with a lot of activities and sales promotion; which anticipated to increase the demand for the last quarter. Miss Pimpaka Wanglee, Chief Executive Officer of Rangsit Plaza Co., Ltd and Executive Director of Future Park Rangsit Shopping Complex; mentioned about retail sales’ circumstance in present, has been impacted from various problems deriving from the increment of living cost, inflation, daily living cost, and transporting cost including the high gasoline price; which directly affected the demand of consumers. Besides, the tension in politics also psychologically affected the consumers to decrease their behaviors in shopping and consuming the goods. Nowadays, we have seen many entrepreneurs in various sectors; were calling out the government to provide the solution and supplement for Thai economics. However, our business operation and the demand of customers; shopping for goods and consuming products at Future Park Rangsit, haven’t been affected by these factors. In addition with the large expansion of the areas in the upper north and east parts of Bangkok including residences, work places, and educational institutes, encouraged an increasing number of customers to use the services provided at Future Park Rangsit Shopping Complex with 23% growth in overall and 10% growth in the group of upper middle class customers (B+) with higher ability to pay; considered 50,000 baht up for monthly income; which the report showed the total revenue has expanded 8% in the second quarter of 2008 and expected to reach the goal with 10% expansion by the last quarter of 2008.
