Gossip Gallery on Sukhumvit 28 presents. “Vera-Alien”, the latest contemporary art collection by M.L. Saksin Karsamsun .This anticipated collection, which consists of 12 acrylic paintings, will be the artist’s first solo exhibition in more than 5 years. “Vera-Alien” by Saksin reflects the artist’s personal point of view on how we, as individuals judge the people around us in today’s society. Is this because we are living in a competitive world? Where superiority and success are the driving goal. Have we become more greedy and self-centered? As a result we only see our difference. We alienate one another until they become isolated. This is the turning point period according to the artist, where we retreat back and see ourselves, finding out who we are. Are we to quick to see difference in one another? To judge without looking back at ourselves and seeing that underneath it all we are the same.
