The Bangkok Bank Foundation’s Chairman Chatri Sophonpanich (third from left), Directors Kosit Panpiemras (second from left) and Khunying Chodchoi Sophonpanich (fourth from left), along with Bangkok Bank Director M.C. Mongkolchaleam Yugala (left) award first prize to the three category winners of the 30th Bualuang Painting Competition. Arts categories included Traditional Thai, Semi-traditional Thai and Contemporary. The first prize-winners will be accompanied by renowned artist Thongchai Rakpatum on an art study tour of the United States from October 18-30. In its 30th consecutive year, the Bualuang Painting Competition received 229 entries from 151 artists. The artists of the nine most outstanding paintings were awarded prizes by a judging panel comprised of national artists and knowledgeable academics.
