Bangkok Global Technology Integrated Co Ltd, developer of IT security products and services ‘SRAN’, is joining forces with KSC Commercial Internet to introduce Data Safehouse, a traffic data hosting service for Web service providers that complies with the Computer Crime Act.
‘Data Safehouse’ is also available for KSC’s BizWeb customers to download for a trial period of three months free of charge.
“According to the Computer Crime Act B.E. 2550 (2007), the information about the computer network activity, or log files, must be recorded for use in investigating related crimes,” said Narat Saraman, Managing Director of Global Technology Integrated Co Ltd.
“The contents of the Act may be difficult to understand, despite all attempts to explain them. The impact of the economic situation also makes IT security investment a high cost for small and medium enterprises as well as individuals’ websites. We therefore decided to offer this new service as an alternative for website operators to access, so that they will understand its benefits and be prepared to deal with computer threats.”
‘Data Safehouse’ is a centralized log server with data archive and hashing, identifying IP address and Domain of visitors , by the satellite-based global positioning system (GPS), and their operating systems and browsers, as well as informing their sites’ stability.

With this service, website providers will getreal time web statistics which is recorded on a daily, monthly, or annual basis upon requirement and historical data can be reported. It’s an ideal for Customer Relationship Management.
Another feature on ‘Data Safehouse is threat monitoring on website, to protect website from web application hacking and send e-mail alert once the intrusion is detected.
“Our collaboration with KSC, a leading Internet service and business solutions provider, will extend the advantages of Data Safehouse to small and medium businesses as well as individual users, making it easier for them to comply with the law and managing their log files and IT security costs,” said Mr. Narat.
