Prof. Dr. Apinan Poshyananda, Office of Contemporary Art and Culture (OCAC) Director-General, Ministry of Culture announces educational activities are held for youths along with the exhibition “Traces of Siamese Smile : Art + Faith + Politics + Love” during the vacation at the Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC) every Saturday and Sunday during October 18 - November 23, 2008.
Prof. Dr. Apinan Poshyananda adds several activities such as Art Rally, Form & Shape of Art, Sculpting Love, Puppet & Puppeteer, etc. scheduled to be held thrice a day: 1st Round - at 11.00 a.m.- 12.30 p.m., 2nd Round - during 1.00 p.m.-2.30 p.m. and 3rd Round during 3.00 - 4.30 p.m. Interested youths and public are welcome to join the program with free of charge. Meanwhile, exhibition “Traces of Siamese Smile : Art + Faith + Politics + Love” displays around 300 works in forms of painting, sculpture, graphic art, photo, installation, video art, film, animation, etc., by more than 100 Thai and international artists, on L, 1-3, 5 and 7-9 floor of the Bangkok Art and Culture Center, Pathumwan intersection.
