The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) confirms that it is the sole secondary market for companies raising equity in Thailand, and provides alternative products for investors.
Thai Beverage PCL (ThaiBev) has requested permission from Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to make a public offering using previously-issued shares, and has submitted the information and prospectus required to SEC. If SEC grants this application, including ThaiBev’s meeting information disclosure requirements, SEC will allow existing shareholders to offer their securities to the public, and SET will consider listing the firm’s securities to enable trading to occur.
SET supports campaigns aiming to limit alcohol drinks, including serious law enforcement to reduce problems occurring from alcohol consumption.
