In their joint effort to promote young artists in the international arena, Raimon Land and the Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL), together with CentralWorld ZEN Department Store and TK Park, recently organized a press conference to invite young artists aged 14 - 20 to participate in the ROSL Young Artist of Thailand Competition 2008. The winner will win a trip to England and the chance to exhibit his or her work in London.
The competition is open to young artists aged between 14 - 20 who are Thai citizens or have been resident in Thailand for a period of more than one year and are nominated by their school, university or academy. Entrants are permitted to enter up to 3 works.
An exhibition of 60 selected works from the semi-finalists will take place at the Eden Zone, Central World from 12 — 18 January 2009 while the finals and the gala reception will be held at a Gala Reception at ZEN Event Gallery, Level 8 on the evening of 16 January 2009.
The winner of the competition will travel to London, exhibit their work and meet other accomplished artists from around the world of similar caliber. For more information, please visit www.roslthailand.com
