Fitch Ratings will host a Web cast to discuss the latest trends in the U.S. credit market including the consumer impact on the U.S. corporate and structured finance sectors.
The Web cast will consist of three sessions:
Credit Market Update: Mariarosa Verde from Fitch's Credit Market Research team and Mark Oline of Corporate Finance will discuss the impact of the financial crisis and subsequent economic weakness on corporate credit quality, including the outlook for funding, liquidity, corporate strategy, deal trends and defaults in a challenging environment.
Consumer Impact on U.S. Corporate and Structured Finance Sectors Under Stress: Fitch analysts will discuss how the housing industry and weak economy are affecting the homebuilders and RMBS market as well as offer an overview of financial pressures and the automotive, auto loans and asset-backed securities sectors.
Consumer Impact on U.S. Corporate and Structured Finance Vulnerable Sectors and Future Stress: Fitch analysts will provide an overview of the stressed consumer affecting the retail sector and commercial real estate debt securities as well as how the weakening economic conditions are impacting the performance of credit card asset-backed securities and U.S. banks.
