Chaiwat Yawwapapong (left) OE/HES, Medical and Security of Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. has recently led Chevron employees in diving to release giant clams into the Chumphon sea and presented financial support to the project to Nipawan Busarawich (right), Director of Marine and Coastal Resource Research Center, The Central Gulf of Thailand. Baby giant clams were bred at Prachuap Khiri Khan Coastal Aquaculture Development Center, the first marine institute in Thailand successfully breeding giant clams. The project aims at rehabilitating marine resources and ecology resulting in more attraction of eco-tourism of the country.
