Dr. Narongchai Akrasanee (far right), Chairman of the Board of Directors, Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), and Dr. Apichai Boontherawara (second right), EXIM Thailand President, recently attended the 14th Annual Meeting of Asian EXIM Banks Forum (AEBF) in Sydney, Australia. In this meeting, AEBF member institutions from nine countries, namely Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea and Thailand, signed an Action Statement to develop a Master Agreement which will be a framework for collaboration among members in project finance and guarantee as well as information exchange via AEBF portal www.asianeximbanks.org. In 2009, EXIM Thailand will host the 15th AEBF Annual Meeting in Thailand.
