CS LoxInfo reported a consolidated net profit for Q3/2008 to the amount of Baht 76 million, an increase of Baht 10 million from normal operation.
For 9 months of this year, CS LoxInfo reported consolidated revenue to the amount of Baht 1,986 million. This comprised revenue from Internet Access Services Business amounting to Baht 1,124 million and the Thailand YellowPages Business and other businesses of Baht 862 million. Moreover, CS Loxinfo announced a consolidated net profit of Baht 192 million or 0.33 baht per share. Moreover, CSL reports a stand alone net profit of Baht 262 million or 0.46 Baht/share, comprising a stand-alone net profit of Baht 101 million and dividend received of Baht 161 million.
The main revenue streams of Internet Access Services Business come from leased line services which serve in the corporate customer sector that has more than 3,000 customer base. CS Loxinfo can make profit from this core services which increased by 16% from last year.
For the Thailand YellowPages Business, its revenue slightly increased from Q2/2008. This resulted from an issuing City YellowPages (Nonthaburi) in this quarter.
For the business direction in 2009, in anticipation of weaken economy, the company is expected to sustain its business performance near its current level. This is because of its strong customer base and its healthy financial status. However the company shall be more conservative in all investments. The company shall focus its effort in the segments that it has expertise or competitive advantage.
