The collection features both recycled materials and ecological materials. Items include: T-shirt: I used to be 2.5 KG of bamboo Shopping bag: I used to be 5 plastic bottles USB memory stick in bamboo case Pen: I used to be car parts Did you know? Only 3% of people recycle their mobile phones Three out of four people don't even think about recycling their devices and nearly half are unaware that it’s even possible to do so If each of the 3 billion people globally who own mobiles brought back just one unused device, we could save 240,000 tonnes of raw materials and reduce greenhouse gases to the same level as taking 4 million cars off the road Up to 80% of a Nokia device can be recycled. Plastics that can't be recycled are burned to provide energy for the recycling process, while other materials are ground into chips and used as construction materials or for building roads. In this way, nothing has to go to a landfill Media Enquiries: ABM 02-252-9871 Barakorn 086-389-5645/ Supaporn 081-995-4388 Jiraporn Boonnark, Nokia (Thailand) Ltd. 02-673-8949
