HONG KONG WINTERFEST SPREADS JOY AND BLESSINGS ACROSS THE CITY

Bangkok--23 Dec--FrancomAsia With Christmas fast approaching, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has rolled out a series of Hong Kong WinterFest ambience-building activities from last Friday (19 December) to spread love and joy across the city. Apart from arranging “Santa Claus” to welcome visitors at major ports of entry, over 1,500 volunteers from local organisations were invited to present Christmas carol singing on decorated antique tram and open-top bus, and give performances in a themed truck touring various tourist districts. Photo Caption 2 The HKTB has arranged open-top bus and antique tram with Hong Kong WinterFest decorations and carol singers on board to run between Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok, and along the tram route between Sheung Wan and Causeway Bay, to present Christmas gospel performance from 19 December to 25 December (from 7pm to 11pm). Photo Caption 3 Until 1 January next year, the performing groups will give a host of performances, such as carol singing, African Drum, Cheerleading, Hip Hop Dancing, Jazz Dancing, in a Hong Kong WinterFest themed truck at various tourist spots including Ferry Pier and Statue Square in Central, Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai, Causeway Bay and Centenary Garden in Tsim Sha Tsui.
