Intending to help relieve parents’ burdens in their belt-tightening time, dtac launches its “Outbound Junior Part Time Program” to encourage students to spend their spare time developing service skills and generating income from their real work for the organization.
Patraporn Sirodom, Chief People Officer of Total Access Communication Public Company Limited (dtac), says that dtac launches the “Outbound Junior Part Time Program” to allow university students who are interested in service work to have firsthand experiences in the field and enjoy on-the-job training by working for the company. Program participants will sign contracts to work for dtac for four months and receive the wages that justify their service periods.
Tipayarat Kaewsringam, Chief Customer Officer of dtac said selected students will be trained and work at dtac’s Rangsit Call Center. They will introduce additional services comprising SMS, MMS and Ring4U to dtac’s prepaid and postpaid customers through telemarketing channels. They will mainly recommend the services that suit the mobile phone usage and demands of customers.
“So we will select participants mainly for their tone of voice, communication skills, responsiveness, attitudes towards service work and determination to develop themselves. Throughout their service periods, the students can develop their working skills and experiences in real-life atmosphere,” Tipayarat says.
dtac has selected the first group of 45 students to work under the program. All of them will receive the wages that suit their service periods and enjoy social security welfare as well.
