Chinese New Year 2009 is on 26 January.
Chinese Master Chef Wong Kam-Yau presents “Prosperous Chicken” and Treasure Raw Fish Salmon Salad “Yee Sang” at Liu Chinese restaurant at The Conrad Bangkok where the family can come together to celebrate Chinese New Year and the Year of the Ox.
Other recommended dishes are Braised abalone with dried oyster and sea moss, Baked king prawns with tomato chili sauce, Stewed five spice pork legs with sea moss, Baked chicken with rock salt in fire as well as Chinese New Year cakes, desserts and much more.
Chinese set lunch at Baht 680++, 880++ per person and “Gong Xi Fa Chai” set dinner is available at Baht 16,800++ including a bottle of Chinese spirit. Special a la carte and regular menus are also available. Every table will receive Ang Pao (red envelopes).
Chinese New Year Hamper is also available during January at Baht 4,800 net consisting of a bottle of Chinese spirit, Dried Conpoy (dried scallops), Black sea moss, Dried Oyster, Sea asparagus, Chinese tea, X.O. chili sauce, Egg noodles, Black mushroom and Bamboo pith..
