Bangkok--20 Jan--Aberdeen Asset Management
The year 2008 was a tough one for Asian equities, given a backdrop of world financial turbulence. However, Aberdeen’s Asian Equities team believes that the region is likely to emerge from the credit crunch stronger, rather than weaker, given that its countries and companies are in good shape compared with those of the West.
In a live webconference scheduled for Wednesday 21 January 2009 at 17.00hrs, Hugh Young, Managing Director of Aberdeen Asset Management Asia Limited, will discuss the progress of Asia Pacific ex Japan economies and markets, and provide an update on the performance of Aberdeen’s products over the past quarter and year.
Hugh’s presentation will also provide clients with a detailed update on portfolio positioning and strategy, as well as exploring the outlook for the coming months in more depth.
To take part in the webconference, you will need to log in through a secure site. To register, please click on to the following link and fill out the short online registration form. A reminder will be sent to you nearer to the day.
