Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Bordin Unakul congratulates the Suranaree Wittaya School for winning the first prize trophy and Baht 150,000 in prize money in the student marching band competition for 2008, the 28th annual staging of the event, under the auspices of His Majesty the King and presented by Rear Admiral M.L. Asanee Pramoj. Organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and Siam Music Yamaha, the contest is held each year to encourage Thai youth to develop new musical ideas, skills and experiences as they march toward international level competition. Bangkok Bank sponsored the competition in 2008 with a budget of Baht 1.5 million.
