Thai bourse amends foreign board ceiling and floor prices

ข่าวเศรษฐกิจ Wednesday January 28, 2009 07:32 —PRESS RELEASE LOCAL

Bangkok--28 Jan--SET Effective February 3, 2009, the ceiling and floor prices of securities traded on the foreign board of The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) shall be increased at the maximum or decreased at the minimum not more than 60% of the last trading price on the main board of the previous day, both in automatic order matching (AOM) and put-through trading. This amendment is to prevent foreign board prices from being extremely out of line from those on the main board. The amendment will also create a price border that is clear and yet wide enough to not hinder trading on the foreign board. The above amendment was approved by SET Board of Governors on December 24, 2008 and approved by the SET members’ meeting on January 13, 2009.
