Tourism is an important mechanism in driving revenue generation and accelerating business recovery due to its relationship to businesses in both the service and manufacturing segments, such as hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops, etc. The Bank is also keen to provide support for other events or projects initiated by the government. We are confident that this campaign will provide a boost to the local tourism industry, which will in turn benefit the overall economy. Most importantly, it will also support entrepreneurs in related industries in growing their businesses.” Mrs. Chalitaporn further noted that the Bank is more than willing to further promote the local tourism industry by encouraging Bank executives to organize activities locally whenever possible, rather than overseas.
