Department of Export Promotion (DEP) is ready to make sure that the upcoming Thailand International Furniture Fair 2009 (TIFF2009) will be an event you will be glad you didn’t miss. The event will take place during March 11th-15th 2009, on a venue of 35,000 sq.m. at IMPACT Muang-Thong-Thani. With over 170 leading furniture companies in over 700 exhibition booths, it certainly offers a great opportunity for professionals in furniture industry throughout Thailand and beyond, to meet in person and engage in successful business negotiations.
Mr. Rachane Potjanasunthorn, DEP Director-General, stated that, “TIFF2009 will be organized under the concept of ‘Imagine Green Living’, with an emphasis on demonstrating the design and production capabilities of Thai furniture makers in creating furniture items that are simple yet practical, refined, clean and nature-friendly. Environmentally friendly furniture made of natural and toxin-free materials is becoming more and more popular and is currently an appealing furniture design and manufacturing trend worldwide.”

He further noted that, “We expect TIFF 2009 to be one of the grandest and most comprehensive furniture expositions ever staged in Thailand.
