Sharholders Confident of THAI’s Long-term Outlook

Bangkok--10 Feb--Thai Airways Thai Airways International Public Company Limited welcomed PYN Fund Management Company from Finland at THAI’s Cabin Crew Center, Laksi. Mr. Raj Tanta-Nanta, THAI’s Vice President, Investor Relations Department together with Mr. Pridi Boonsue, THAI’s Vice President, Alliance & Loyalty Management Department and Captain Wiroj Jutagasut, Mission Commander Aviation Resources Development Department recently welcomed Mr. Petri Deryng and investors from PYN Fund Management on the occasion of their visit to THAI’s Cabin Crew Training Center, Laksi. Mr. Raj Tanta-Nanta, THAI’s Vice President said that PYN Fund Management is one of the leading fund management companies from Finland who has continued to show confidence in THAI by maintaining their shareholding in the National Airline. There have been numerous financial institutions who have contacted the Company requesting for company visits to see THAI’s operations at our Cabin Crew Center, Catering and Cargo’s facilities. Apart from shareholders, investors, analysts, senior staff from financial institutions along with students from various educational institutions have also visited THAI’s operating facilities. Due to the success and reputation of its personnel and training facilities, THAI’s Cabin Crew Center could become a regional center for aviation training in the near future. After the company visit, Mr. Petri Deryng revealed that they were impressed with the warm welcome and hospitality, but more so with the training facility offering world-class safety training by THAI’s staff. This is the second time in which PYN Fund Management along with their clients have visited the Company. We are confident of the long-term prospects of Thailand as a leading tourist destination and therefore am confident of the outlook of tourism and travel related plays at current valuations. During the company’s visit, Mr. Petri Deryng, founder of PYN Fund Management and clients were briefed on the company’s performance as well as aviation and airline safety related training. After the presentation, there was Question & Answer session to provide the visitors with additional details of the Company’s current situation and future business outlook. The guests visited the Cabin Service Training (CST) and observed the training mock up class by crew attendants. In addition, the visitors were invited to sit-in the Airbus 300-600 simulator at the Cabin Emergency Evacuation Training (CEET) station. THAI Cabin Crew Center aims to provide the highest standard of cabin safety training for not only THAI’s staff but also for international customer airlines such as Lufthansa, Jalways and Kenya Airlines who have sent their cabin crew for training at THAI’s Crew Center in Thailand.
