Bangkok--11 Feb--Standard & Poor's
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it corrected its underlying rating (SPUR) on Yakima, Wash.'s series 2007 limited-tax general obligation and refunding bonds. The SPUR was raised to 'A+' from 'A'. The outlook is stable. Although the bonds are on parity with other obligations secured by the city's general obligation, we inadvertently did not include them in a rating action on Aug. 19, 2008, in which we raised our rating on the other obligations. For more information, please see the report "Yakima, Washington" published Aug. 19, 2008, on RatingsDirect.
