The new Director of Food and Beverage at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa is Mr Denis Martin.
He joins the Marriott team from Le Meridien Phuket Beach and will oversee operations across the resort’s award-winning restaurants and bars.
Fluent in French and English, Denis has built up a strong reputation throughout his 25-year career for developing and maintaining a highly motivated and effective team that consistently delivers top quality service. As a result, Denis has a strong record in achieving high customer satisfaction ratings. In addition, he has an impressive operational knowledge of all F&B aspects including financial controls, human resources and marketing.
Born in France, Denis attended the Hotel School of Chamalieres and his professional qualifications include CAP, BEP and a Diploma in Hotel Management.
Denis began his career as a sommelier in the UK before moving to a range of roles in independent as well as international hotels in the US, the West Indies and France. He arrived in Thailand in 2001 and has worked for many five-star hotel brands including the Intercontinental, Dusit Thani, Landmark and Le Meridien.
