2008 Energy Contest Asia Pacific — JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa was recently awarded to be the Second Runner Up for 2008 Energy Contest Asia Pacific by Marriott International Asia Pacific among participating Marriott hotels in Asia Pacific. The prize of 17,500 Baht check was presented to Housekeeping and Engineering departments by Mr.Robert Lohrmann, General Manager of JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa. The aim of the contest is to save the environment by reducing the energy consumption.
