Moody's launches global cross-sector Weekly Credit Outlook

Bangkok--23 Feb--Moody's Moody's Investors Service announced today the launch of Weekly Credit Outlook, a newsletter that brings to investors Moody's thinking on the credit implications of current events across a variety of sectors, geographies, and asset classes. Moody's Weekly Credit Outlook combines commentary and analysis from Moody's Investors Service, Moody's CreditQuotes, Moody's Capital Markets Research, and Moody's Economy.com to give investors a complete picture of credit market news, developments, conditions, and outlooks. Each week the publication will offer Moody's latest opinions on the issues that are top-of-mind to investors. This week's edition covers topics as diverse as the Homeowner Affordability and Stability Plan, GM's and Chrysler's restructuring plans, MBIA's split of its municipal and other insurance businesses, and the declining economic growth prospects of Latin America. Regular weekly features include a summary of trading patterns in the credit markets, latest spreads and issuance volumes, the financial outlook for the U.S. and Europe, a preview of the coming week's economic releases, and a list of recent Moody's rating actions and research.
