Neuscreen Wins USD 5,000 Prize in Contest for Mobile Applications to Help Improve Life on the Planet
Neuscreen, a new application by Mr. Sittiphol Phanvilai, a developer from Thailand has been selected by Nokia as the 2nd winner in the Technology Showcase category in the global Calling All Innovators contest for mobile applications and solutions to help improve the quality of life on the planet.
Mr. Sittiphol Phanvilai joined 10 other developers worldwide who were honored in Barcelona, Spain, in the Forum Nokia Calling All Innovators Award Ceremony during the annual GSMA Mobile World Congress. The winners were selected from among nearly 1,000 developers who competed in three categories with mobile applications designed to contribute toward building a better world.
Neuscreen is an application utilizing the drawing, touch-screen and camera functionalities of a Nokia N95 device connected to a normal television set to track the motion of a light pen and enable “virtual” drawing, as well as projection and manipulation directly on the TV screen of images stored on the mobile device.
As the 2nd winner in the Technology Showcase, Mr. Sittiphol Phanvilai received a cash award from Nokia of USD 5,000 and will receive help in distributing his mobile applications to consumers worldwide.

Mr. Sittiphol Phanvilai is a talented young developer, who won The Open C Challenge Grand Prize Winner for his MobiTubia application at Forum Nokia in 2007. In addition, he also is known as a software development expert and columnist.
During the first round of the contest, the Calling All Innovators website received more than 250,000 unique visitors and more than 12,000 developers from around the world registered with Forum Nokia, the world’s largest mobile developer community.
