Thai Airways International Public Company Limited recently joined the World Air Cargo Event 2009. Dr.Maitree Srinarawat Deputy Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Transport presided over the opening ceremony at Centara Grand Hotel and Bangkok Convention Centre.
The Fourth World Air Cargo Event 2009 has gathered together cargo business experts, exhibitors, traders, sales agents and logistic media representatives from around the world. The conference and exhibition was aimed to boost relationship of exhibitors and conference delegates and provide them with a perfect opportunity to network.
THAI’s Managing Director Cargo & Mail Commercial Department Mr. Pruet Boobphakam said that THAI cargo is in support of the company recovery plan caused by the world economic downturn. Review and improvement on utilization of cargo space, equipment and workforce were made to meet future challenges. THAI Cargo has initiated various measures to improve overall services in the area of delivery and cargo management system, at the same time increasing sales and revenues through series of campaigns and activities.
THAI’s booth showcased the theme, “Always Deliver the Best” to ensure customers awareness on its product and service, using various types of media. Expert staff from THAI cargo business were available at the promotional booth to provide visitors with Cargo handling and marketing information and database.
