Target to offer service coverage in all regions by generating value added business to its authorized partners as Acer Authorized Service Center.
Mr. Sophon Panchim, Service Director, Acer Computer said service is one of Acer key success factors, especially our customer satisfaction. Last year we offered 4 hours onsite service, the lost & found insurance, free service fee, service consultation, and instant service. We got a satisfaction stamp from our customer for doing all that.
“This year, to be a part of “Shaping the Future” we look to offer more services with the same or less expenses. Our customers will get better service level agreement with customization package. As for the Multi Brands strategy, Acer Service have our services cover all brands: Gateway, Acer and eMachine. We have invested in CRM solution and are using it to create more service models for our customers. We also expand our service centers in each region. We upgrade our AOP to offer services, more than 100 AOPs have been authorized Acer Service Center (AASC). We also appoint Acer Notebook Professional shop to offer Notebook service for our notebook customer. Acer sale strategy is 100 percent through our AOP therefore by adding service business it will help them generate more revenue” said Mr. Sophon.
Mr. Sophon added that our core services this year will include Onsite service for consumer and enterprise desktop, software installation for consumer desktop and notebook, 7X24 service for enterprise and campus service center for educational institute. We place our technical specialist at each campus service center. We also eye to leverage our service center as point of purchase for Acer’s accessories.
There are 12 Acer Service Centers throughout the country which 3 are in Bangkok (Rama 3, Pantip Plaza and Seacon Square) and 9 upcountry includes Chonburi, Rayong, Nakornrajsima, Khon Kean, Pitsanulok, Chiangmai, Haad Yai, Phuket and Surat Thani.
