Fritz Hasselbach of Weigut Gunderloch, Dr. Dirk Richter of Weingut Max Ferd. Richter, and Christian Ress of Weingut Balthasar Ress have prepared their most recommended wines for a glorious one night German Wine Dinner in Celadon on Friday 20 March 2009 for Baht 1,999++ per person.
Both Herr Hasselbach and Herr Ress will be delighted to give further details of their wines and the perfect marriage to Thai cuisine during the evening.

The Gunderloch estate is located in the small village of Nackenheim, a town on the banks of Rhein river at the foot of the Rothenberg, founded in 1890 by Carl Gunderloch, a banker from Mainz. There are varieties of grapes planted in the vineyard area of 31 acres with the vine average age of 25 years. Until now, The Gunderloch is owned by Agnes Hasselbach-Usinger, the fifth generation of the family, and it has become one of the leading quality wine making pioneers on Rhine river.

About Max Ferd. Richter
The estate of Max Ferd. Richter was originated in 1813. The holding area of 40 acres has been under the ownership of the family for more than 300 years. Due to the unique characteristics of the vineyards, the wines producing from this single vineyard sites have special characters and flavors, which make the enterprise become one of the leading producers of top Riesling wines in the heart of the central Mosel area. Moreover, since the family always aims at optimum quality, Max Ferd. Richter has won the highest awards in many competitions.

About Balthasar Ress
Balthasar Ress was originated from a restaurant with its own wine business on the main street of the village of Hattenheim in the Rheingau by Balthasar Ress. However, in his next generation, Karl Ress, his son, expanded the business into a hotel and Ress winery leading to the outstanding reputation. After Karl Ress’s death, the hotel and wine estate were divided by his nephews. One of them took care of the hotel business and another one, Paul Ress, took ownership of the winery. His son, Stefan, purchased the land and expanded the business larger. In the fifth generation of the Balthasar Ress’s Family where Christian Ress became the co-owner with his father, Stefan Ress, the family business has developed into one of the leading wine estates of the region and has become an important player in the wine trade, exporting its products to markets around the world.
