MSI X-Slim, the mile-stoned product of notebook history, works of art, has been a phenomenon at CeBIT in Germany.
The official debut date of this ultra light notebook in Thailand has not been released from MSI headquarters though it predictably will fall on Q2 2009.
Making its fashion statement, having attracted worldwide media eyes at CES early 2009, X 340 at CeBIT brings a visitor from MSI’s main competitor. Chairman of ASUSTek and its top managers visit MSI booth and research on this flagship product of MSI.
X340, weighing 1.3kg with battery, measured 6mm at its thinnest and 1.98cm at its thickest, is the first 13” notebook equipped with 16:9 widescreen. Managers from MSI’s competitors show appreciation of the elegant exterior and technical design of this product.
X series embraces “Light, Slim & Aesthetic” design concept and meanwhile features the most advanced technology of power saving and multimedia technology.
With the total power consumption merely one sixth of other notebooks PC in the market, X340 uses the Intel Centrino mobile platform with ULV CPU architecture, providing users with performance along with power saving advantages.
X340 comes with complete multimedia features, including full I/O ports, HDMI port, and Blu-Ray support. For network connectivity, X340 supports 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth connection, and optional WiMAX modules.
