Dr. Apichai Boontherawara (left), President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), congratulated Mr. Buntoeng Vongkusolkit (right), Group Managing Director-ASEAN Business, Mitr Phol Sugar Corp. Ltd., on the grand opening of Mitr Lao Sugar Mill of Mitr Lao Sugar Co., Ltd. in Savannakhet province, Lao PDR on March 2, 2009. EXIM Thailand offered a syndicated loan to the company for sugarcane cultivation and construction of a sugar mill with a cane crushing capacity of 10,000 tonnes of sugarcane daily.
