With this promotion, customers can make calls back to Thailand when they are abroad and get a 10% discount on call rates, pay only 10 Baht for SMS sent from abroad to anywhere in the world and get free travel insurance with a maximum coverage of 300,000 Baht.
dtac introduces “Route(+)66”, a new promotion for postpaid customers who travel to any destination around the world. The new package is especially designed for those people who travel abroad and recognizes the customers’ lifestyle and needs. “We see that when customers travel overseas they mainly make calls back to Thailand and that’s why dtac can now offer them 10% discount on these calls wherever they are in the world” said Mr.Chaiyod Chirabowornkul, Division Head of dtac’s Postpaid Business. “Furthermore they can send SMS from anywhere in the world for only 10 Baht and will also receive free travel insurance coverage for medical expense in case of accident or illness, international S.O.S.(for emergency contact) and travel information services.”
”Route(+)66” is a smart and attractive choice for customers as they can enjoy these privileges from anywhere in the world and is not restricted to certain countries only. The package has an annual subscription fee of 365 Baht and is valid for one full year after subscription.
Simplicity with the Route (+)66 package and dtac’s focus on delivering high quality roaming service, aims to give the customer a better experience when traveling overseas. In conjunction with the new package, dtac has also launched an international call centre which operates 24 hours a day to help customers whatever time zone they may be in. In addition, travelers can earn Royal Orchid Plus (ROP) mileage from dtac’s Roaming2Mile program when using their dtac number abroad. Mileage can be earned from invoices above 1,000 Baht of roaming usage and if full payment is made within the invoice due-date.
