The "Granmonte Wine Dinner" provides a unique opportunity to sample some of Thailand's outstanding wines carefully selected to go with Giorgio’s delicious Italian cuisine. The menu will feature 5 selected wines presented by GranMonte, one of Thailand's premier winemakers based in Khao Yai together with the 6-course modern Italian dishes.
The 6-course menu special prepared by Chef Luca Pulese will include his signature dishes like Pan seared scallops with salty butter, truffle served with Unwooded Chenin Blanc “Fiori” 2008; or try the Asparagus soup with crab; then follow by the next dish Pink pepper-flavored salmon with baked fennel and Gran monte white wine served with Unwooded Chenin Blanc Colombard “Primavera” 2008. Next will be the Red Wine risotto with honey-glazed quail breast served with Unfiltered Syrah “Primavera 2006”; while the oven-baked artichokes with minced lamb shank, olives and bell peppers will be paired with Syrah “Primavera” 2007; then the last but not least Herbed beef fillet with Gran Monte red wine and balsamic-glazed onions, perfectly matched with Unfiltered Syrah “Fiori” 2005; end the sweetest night with Porto-poached cherries with ricotta mousse.
