On behalf of Roche Diagnostics (Thailand), Mr. Chanok Avirutdhakarn, Sales and Marketing Manager (Second from the left) and Dr. Somvong Tragoonrung, Director of Genome Institute, the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology recently held a press conference on Genetic Research Competition under the theme “the Great Gigabase Grant” or 3Gs at Kamolthip Ballroom, Siam City Hotel, Sri Ayudhaya Rd. The competition welcomes all researchers, scientists, medical technicians in Indo-china region, such as Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia to summit their genetic research to win the prize worth 3.5 million baht. The applicants can send their projects from now until July 17, 2009. Those submitted projects have to be practical and can be further developed to benefit human beings.
