The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has appointed a chief executive officer, director, and management committee for its financial education subsidiary, The Family Know-How Co., Ltd. (FKH). This committee will focus on improving programs of its Money Channel television to have more variety under the theme of “Enhancing Financial Opportunity.”
Ms. Chanisa Chutipat, Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Services of SET, will be Chief Executive Officer of FKH, while Mr. Vichate Tantiwanich, Chief Marketing Officer-Issuer & Listing of SET, will join FKH as a director. These appointments are in additional to their current positions and are effective April 2009.
SET has also assigned four FKH directors to be its Management Committee: Ms. Patareeya Benjapolchai, SET President; Mr. Punsak Vejanurug, Executive Director,Market Education Center, Capital Market Development Fund; Mr. Vichate, and Ms. Chanisa.
FKH’s Money Channel television will offer more variety in its broadcasting, focusing on financial market stakeholders, including listed, securities, and asset management companies; investors, businesses preparing to list, and other government and private financial market-related organizations. Money Channel will broaden the economic and financial market information it offers, and will publicize its new content by mid-2009.
Ms. Chanisa joined SET in August 2001. She was managing director of SET’s Internet trading subsidiary, Settrade.com Co., Ltd. from March 2004 to December 2008, and has been Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Services of SET since January 2009.
