New Portal Enables Rapidly Growing Customer Base to Easily Share Ideas and Feedback with Adobe
Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) today introduced Acrobat.com Ideas, a new site for Acrobat.com users to share their voice, opinions and ideas about the services and features on Acrobat.com. Since the beginning of 2009, more than one million users have signed up for Acrobat.com. Now through Acrobat.com Ideas, powered by Brightidea.com's WebStorm 5.0 technology, this rapidly growing customer base can easily post ideas for Acrobat.com features, vote on other people's ideas, and submit comments and feedback. The best and brightest ideas from the community can then be used in future improvements and updates to Acrobat.com.
Acrobat.com is a set of online services -- file sharing and storage, PDF converter, online word processor, and web conferencing -- that take advantage of PDF, Adobe Flash? and Adobe AIR? technologies to deliver engaging online experiences that go well beyond traditional office productivity tools. Since the launch of Acrobat.com as public beta in June 2008, people have been using these services, including Adobe Buzzword and Adobe ConnectNow, to collaborate and communicate in real-time with others. Now, users have the opportunity to make the Acrobat.com experience even better by sharing their feedback through Acrobat.com Ideas.
Brightidea.com, the leader in innovation management software, worked with Adobe to create Acrobat.com Ideas based on WebStorm 5.0 software. WebStorm 5.0 is a corporate social network that enables businesses to quickly and easily create customer innovation portals to establish collaborative environments with customers, employees or partners. For example, businesses can use it to gather prioritized feedback from customers to ensure they are providing the enhancements and new features that are the most popular among end-users, ultimately improving customer satisfaction. With the help of Brightidea.com, Adobe can efficiently gather, track and rank user input on Acrobat.com features in order to better understand user priorities.
The Acrobat.com Ideas portal is available online immediately through the end of June, 2009 at http://ideas.acrobat.com.
