CNN is welcoming all aspiring directors who have got the knack for doing extraordinary things with an ordinary cell phone. Get a chance to show the world that you have what it takes to be coined as the “Spielberg” of mobile phone moviemaking.
CNN’s film program The Screening Room, hosted by Myleene Klass, recently launched a competition that seeks for the world’s best mobile phone filmmaker.
Viewers and prospective directors are invited to flaunt their flair for mobile phone filmmaking by creating a short film on any subject of up to five minutes. Entries will go through a panel of judges, the programs production team, including The Screening Room’s very own host Myleene Klass. Top entries will be featured on the program’s website while the overall winner’s film will be aired on a future edition of The Screening Room Xtra on CNN.
All participants must submit their films via CNN’s Youtube page www.youtube.com/cnn. All entries must be handed in by 25 May 2009. For more details and production tips, see www.cnn.com/thescreeningroom.
